Gosh it's been a while.....I kind of had forgotten about this until i seen a few people posting their blogs on facebook. Reading other's thoughts kind of got me into the mood of wanting to do this more. Lord knows i have nothing but time on my hands.
Well, since my last post in '09 Logan is now in school. He is in pre-k. He LOVES it! I sometimes think he likes the girls more. Gosh at only being 5 yrs old, he sure is a stud, LOL! This past summer, Logan took up Tball, and had so much fun! He has been practicing and is ready to play again. Shane is now in the 5th grade. He is to smart for his own good. He just got done taking his TASKs Test, and said he is pretty confident he did well. I am so proud at how well he is going in school. Jordan is in the 6th grade. He is now in the middle school, and is kind of having a rough year. Trying to adjust but the other kids are getting the best of him. He is in orchestra, playing the viola, and we have went to a few concerts this year. I hope he continues to learn it, and I look forward to listening to him play some Mozart or Bach in the next few years. He also made a role in the school play. We are very excited to see how he will do next month.
I still havent done anything with my schooling. I get so discusted with myself everytime I think about it. I do plan on visiting a college this coming week and finding out some kind of plan.... I am not getting any younger and I NEED to get this ball rolling. I want my boys and husband to be proud of me.
Jeff and I are doing great. Had a little rough patch when he got laid off, but things are starting to look better for us. I am hoping and praying that by tax season next year, we can put a down payment into owning a home. We all are so ready for it!
Well I promise not to be a stranger and not sure how exciting my posts will be, but 'venting' here sure is nice :)

Just something to think about
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers.
-------------------------------
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full ..
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'
The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed..
'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.
The sand is everything else---the small stuff.
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls."
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Spend time with your children.
Spend time with your Spouse.
Spend time with your parents.
Visit with your grandparents.
Play another 18.
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter.
Set your priorities.
The rest is just sand.
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented.
The professor smiled and said, "I'm glad you asked."
The Beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always
room for a couple of Beers with a friend.

25 things you might not know about me
Well its been a while since i last blogged, a good friend of mine suggested i try this, she said it was really hard to think of 25 facts about yourself......lets see how hard it really is shall we?!
1. My name is Jessica
2. I live in Fort Worth, TX
3. I have three kids.....how hard can this be?!?!?!?!
Oooookay, i was just joking with those three, i will try a little harder...lol!
here we go:
1. I am 28 years old (almost 29) and i feel i haven't accomplished that much in my lifetime. There is sooooo much more i think i should be doing with my life, but where i am at now, i wouldn't change it for the world!
2. My favorite color is pink , i never really use to like it and quite honestly i don't know what changed my mind about it, but i LOVE that color!
3. I love dipping my Doritos's in cottage cheese...yummy!
4. I got pregnant with Shane on my prom night back in high school, our theme was 'TONIGHT is FOREVER' .....man whoever came up with that wasn't lying!!!!!!
5. If i had been born a boy, my mom was gonna call me Wade Fielding, i guess it was after a soap opera star that she had a huge crush on....thanks mom :P

7. I use to live in a foster home for a few years with my sister when i was younger. My step mom was really abusive to me and my sister and after 9 years of torture we finally got brave enough to run away. I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
8. I am probably the nosiest person you will ever meet! I don't like secrets. I don't like not knowing what is going on. I feel like i need to be in control and know what is happening around me all the time, it kinda sucks!
9. I love roller coasters. I think if i knew how to become one of those people that travel around the world to test out new coasters, i would already be gone!
10. I have been blessed to have a great family. I have 3 of the most coolest kids i could ever have asked for. Yes at times they make me wanna rip my head off, but watching them grow up has truly been an experience all in its own. I cant wait to see what great men they grow up to become, maybe the future president or scientist that invents the cure to all major diseases.......
11. On the note of being blessed, i am also married to the GREATEST guy i could ever had hoped to fall in love with. We are complete opposites, but balance each other out in all the right places. He is my backbone, my best friend, my lover, my babies daddy...lol, my soul mate, the one i will grow old, wrinkly and grey with for many many years to come!
12. I have an addiction to the computer game World of Warcraft....Jeff likes to pick at me for playing it, but i don't care, i like it :P
13. When my father was 12, he tried to swim across the Mississippi river and almost drowned, just think, if he did, i would never be writing this right now! thank you lord for watching out for him that day!
14. I would love to get a 'mommy makeover'...u know where they make your body look like it did before you had kids...that is a dream i hope to someday be able to afford. I know, its a little vain, but it would make me feel soooo much better about my appearance, i think its worth it!
15. Back in high school i was a straight A 4.0 student...i don't really know why i should tell anyone that but hey, makes me feel smart! lol
16. I want to have one more child, and i want it to be a girl. I love the name Brianna Leigh or Madison Riane , oooo and i will dress her in pink all the time..she will be such a girly girl!
17. I have the annoying habit of biting my nails. I have it bad, to where my nails hurt afterwards for days........
18. This one time at band camp..............................lol
19. I am a clean/neat freak, and I like to have things done my way....i get really irritated if things get done not the way i like/do it...so usually i tend to do things myself.
20. I can make the best baked spaghetti that i know of......its soooooo yummy!
21. I have the fear of being to hard on my kids because of what my sister and i had been through, that i am afraid they are gonna end up walking all over me when they get older! thank god they have Jeff to set them straight!
22. I am soooo scared to die either by drowning, car accident or burning to death........
23. I am a reality TV freak...i love shows like 'true life', 'real world', 'temptation island' 'dog bounty hunter'.....ooo this list could go on and on...lol!
24. Christmas is my favorite holiday, i LOVE to see my boys so excited on Christmas day after Santa has arrived. Their big smiles make the hard times all worth it!
25. It is now 11:50 pm and i am still up doing this blog for my good friend Brandi, i told her it would be done by time she got on the computer tomorrow and i hope she appreciates the hard work and dedication i had doing this :) Well goodnight, I am off to bed!

As the year comes to an end....
What a way to start off my first blog right...well sitting here, i have come to think about all the stuff that has happened this past year and just wanted to share a few thoughts.....
Well beginning the 2008 year, Logan, mine and Jeff's youngest son, turned 2. Ooooo what a fun journey it has been with him this year. We were worried that he might have been autistic so we had a speech therapist come and evaluate him, if you ever get the chance to be around him, you will see he has no problem in that department, he is a chatter box!!! Shane is in 3rd grade this year and it has been a bit of a challenge to him. He took part in the invention convention at school where the student invent items for everyday use..he invented 'The friendly Utensil' basically just was a spoon on one end and fork on the other. It was a lot of fun! Jordan is in the 4Th grade this year. I cant believe he is almost gonna be in junior high in a few years!!! I can feel my gray hairs growing by the second...lol.
Jeff and I got married on October 18Th this year...i cant believe it finally happened! I am truly the luckiest woman in the world! The wedding was in Grayslake, IL at Jeff's dad and step-mom's house. It was absolutely perfect, the wedding of my dreams!!!! I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him and see what memories our family will make!
I am still working as an assistant manager for Famous Footwear... I don't know how much longer it will last. The job pays okay, but the hours are a joke! I had enrolled into a school to become a CMA but found out it was going to be a waste of money, so i am looking at going to school to become either a LVN or RN...same amount of money i would have been spending just a few more months of schooling was the only difference.
Christmas is quickly approaching and I honestly don't know where the time went...I look at our tree, which i LOVE, and it is filled with all sorts of gifts from the boy's grandparents. I hope they understand what Christmas is all about, but at their age, its all about presents. Jeff and I try to make sure they have the best Christmas every year and I am excited to see how happy they are and their big smiles when they see Santa has came this year. We are far away from our family, which sucks this time of year, but made some new friends, which we hopefully will be spending a few hours with on Christmas...well as i end this, i just wanted to say:
